I wouldn't use WD-40 as it sucks as a lubricant, especially on rubber. I use this silicone paste with great success https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B016E5E59G/?tag=fordraptorforum-20 - Seems to last 6 months ish per application.

Pulled some stuff out of it before I drop it off for cam phaser TSB, valve cover TSB, and diagnosis of some weird whistle that i have from the rear end from 48-52 MPH while my foot's on the gas.

Welp, confirmed valve covers and cam phasers. Also need to open the rear diff and check pinion bearing. Wonderful
