@RDFTS
using the measurement I described (fender flare to top of stock tire) on a 2019/2020
- stock 7.25" (measured on three trucks at the dealer lot)
- mine at 3/8" on the preload collars - 8" or 0.75" lift from stock
- mine at 3/4" on the preload collars - 8.75" or 1.5" lift from stock
- I believe 0" preload on collars for 3.0 live valves is the same as stock (i.e. 7.25"). This is mathematically verified by the 2 to 1 lift ratio I have with the collar adjustments I've had on the 3.0s. I must admit I never installed the 3.0s at that setting on my truck though.
due to the articulation of the suspension, there is about 0.75-1" of up travel beyond the fender flare at full tuck.
as I recall, full droop was just over 12" to the same point. Again, the math works out to 13" total travel given travel past the fender.
if you're running 2" of lift (1" on the collars), then you should have about 9.25" to the fender from the stock tires. That means there is actually 10-10.25" of up travel given the extra 0.75-1.0" past the fender liner. Given that math that leaves only 2.75-3.0" of droop travel.
hope this helps (and sorry to hijack this thread)
Frame cut rear add pro, Hidden hitch, custom flush mount s2 brackets, dovetail plates, bed support, 24” of rear clearance, so many things the common eye would never notice but wow did @SVTFordRaptor truck turn out amazing or what!

A puddle in the driveway in these trucks is always an “Oh Crap”moment. For the oil to escape the skid plate, you know it’s got to be a lot. Good luck with the truck, hope all is well after the phaser repair.Finally got my cam phasers replaced after dreading it and got my truck home after being gone for 2 weeks and...got up the next morning to a nice puddle of oil in my driveway. Called the dealership and they apologized and towed it back. They’re saying it’s because the drain plug was broken, but with my truck being a 17 with the push and twist lock plug I’m not sure how it could be broken but there wasn’t any noises, alerts or low oil pressure. When I noticed the puddle I checked the dip stick and the oil level was at the bottom of the stick. Could have been worse I guess but now I get to clean up a huge oil puddle in my driveway!
Those are awesome.You should have shown a better pic of those dovetail plates you made me... They are gorgeous
