My 2018 was whisper quiet 35k miles until destroyed by a millennial distracted driver.Looks like what I need to do. Plus my lid makes noise from the latch mechanism. Drivers door makes a rubbing noise during winter. Wish ford would get better with design and build, so we would have less noises.
Cupholder mod, and tore into the center column. Added in a small amount of sound dampening, but mostly eliminated any and all squeaks. Ahhh she rides so quiet squeak-free now - next, full sound dampening on the back wall and all 4 doors

@codeman whats the cup holder mod?
My 2018 was whisper quiet 35k miles until destroyed by a millennial distracted driver.
my 2020 just turned 3600 miles also no rattles or squeaks
tbh....admittedly a lil surprised b/c I have 801a’s & in general this gen Ford F-150 is fairly “plasticky” on the interior, w/ a lot of snap fit parts. When I swapped out the shifter on my 2018 had the center console pulled part & put back together didn’t develop any new squeaks either
anyhow- what’s the cup holder mod??
At least on the 2020, Ford cheaped out on providing a cup holder with spring tensioners at the back of the center console. The stock cup holders are too large to hold anything smaller, and no soft rubber removable insert either in case of spills.
You can see the comparison to the stock one in the photo here. I purchased a cup holder from an F150 and swapped out just the cup portion. Just something small that was bugging me
