Installed a dashcam, AQP 4K dual. Didnt wanna the mount tape directly on my tint so I bought a cheap glass cell phone screen protector to go against the tint instead and mount to that. So far so good.

I also have no idea why everyone on youtube pulls the entire A-pillar apart to install, the wiring tucked neatly in the weather strip just fine. That camera came with the hardwire kit as well, all I needed were a few micro2 fuse taps to install.

Interesting DIY, the screen protector is a great idea! I mounted my valentine one in that spot, and for the life of me could not get the suction cups to stick to the small dots. I ended up using a small piece of black vinyl and it worked great. Also offered some concealment.

All the vinyl I was finding was more expensive than the glass I used, if the glass outline bothered me I was going to try clear Laminx next. So far the outline hasnt pulled my attention away once.

I did get a 5 pack of glass so I may trim a piece down to size.

Bought an 18v Milwaukee 1/2 impact with deep sockets, so when I have to change a tire or R&R a bolt I can do so w/o an archaic ratchet set. Been wanting an electric impact for years, finally got the right tool for the job.

You notice a difference in sound?

So I drove it for some time this weekend and really didn't notice any more turbo whine than before. However my wife always tells me how terrible I am at listening (or something like that) so my opinion might not be the one you want.

My next mod on the list! The FMIC looks badass btw!

Is it a big difference in performance?

Thanks!

And there sure is after it's tuned. As he did with my Stage 1, Goosetuned crushed it and the truck woke up. I'd do it again in a heartbeat. In fact, I wouldn't even dabble with Stage 1. We're seeing temperatures in the 115's right now, and the truck pulls so much harder in all gears (I expected only to notice a difference in top-end power)

Good luck to you, you won't regret it.
