Yep, peeled off with my hand once I got one side started. About half of them the center came out too and I just used a pick to get it out if it didn’t peel off with the rest of it.
I have the factory bedliner too. I've always had drop in liners and really liked them. Mine was a dealer spec'd truck. If I had ordered the truck I would've gotten another drop in or linex. Time will tell if I like this one or not. Thinking about getting a bedrug to protect the bedliner...lol.

You gotta have realistic expectations. I carry a couple of heavy fold up ladders on my factory bed liner, let them slide around or whatever, for almost 2 years and 43k miles. The bed liner still looks new, no damage.
I remember when I actually bought an aftermarket bed liner for the first time, back in 2002. I was a general contractor and had a bunch of concrete chunks thrown into the bed. The bed liner was all ripped up. I called the installer, he says "yeah, that happens all the time, it has a lifetime warranty, bring it back before you trade it in, we'll fix/re-spray it."
Over the years, I've found that a drop in bed liner is actually the best if you're going to do "real" work with the truck. They have enough give to not deform the bed if something heavy is dropped in. Rinse it out and it looks new.
I got the factory liner on mine because it was already on the truck. I find it acceptable. If it wasn't already there, I would have gotten a drop in and been very happy.

Like you, it was on the lot with that option. If I had time to order one like I did on my 14', then I definitely would not of gotten the options that are on the one I purchased, like the moonroof and carbon fiber. I did get the factory bed liner on my GEN1 and I honestly have to say that the GEN2 factory bed liner is not as good as it was on my GEN1. There as so many places that they missed like behind the t-handles and up by the bed caps. I had to take the liner off the bed bolts on my GEN1 and it was a bitch so I wasn't looking forward to doing it again. So even though I wasn't impressed with the quality, it made taken them off the bed bolts very easy so that was a relief. I had drop-ins on other trucks and never really liked them. I would of rather had this GEN2 with no bed options and I would of taken it to Line-X to get it done.

Between yesterday and today I installed the SDHQ Abs/Vacuum guards, Gorilla lug nuts from CJ Pony parts and emptied out the catch can. Love doing the little items that are easy and don't take all that long, makes me feel like I accomplished something:)

Washed and waxed Lucille. This time, I did some surface prep first, then Adams ceramic wax. It must have taken a bit longer than I thought because I am sporting some hues on my skin that don’t look proper

Had these custom cup holder inserts made and finally got home to put them in the truck.

Shout out to Colby @ThryveByDesign as he had these designed, packaged and shipped in under 3 hours on a Sunday evening. They're also now available as an option on his Etsy page, really stoked how they came out.

Added some personal touches from ThryveByDesign and RappyGraphics.

Also installed a Lomax Tri-Fold Bed Cover ordered from OffroadAlliance.com. Great service!
