Super nice. Please elaborate on the use of the iPad. Is it in lieu of the on board screen? Also, where did you get the carbon kit? It looks great!

I use my iPad for nav, have LeadNav loaded on it, and use a Dual GPS receiver. The combo is great when going out in the boonies. I also can listen to all my music when out of fm radio range.

The Gaia CarPlay integration is just OK in my opinion so far. They need to make improvements. Just tested it running the Kiamichi Trail from OK to AR this weekend and it worked all right but not great. Still found myself opting to pull up the app on my phone to look ahead on the map. Don’t like that you can’t pinch zoom or easily swipe to look ahead on the map on CarPlay

I completely agree about car play. I used it but had my phone mounted to mob armor mount in view the whole time. I had the OE screen zoomed in and the iPhone Gaia map zoomed out so I could see both. Fingers crossed they will fix this. I am hoping the iPad will be a better solution all around for running this app.

I am in NE OK where does the trail start? Is it a good trail you would recommend?

The halfway mark for the trail is Three sticks monument just north of Broken Bow. There you can pick up the western half or the eastern half of the trail. I got there late Friday and we headed in to the western portion of the trail from the monument to find our camp for the night. About 9 miles in or about an hour of crawling you’ll get to an old fire tower where a stone garage was built. We used the old garage as a shelter to camp for the night. The trail is tight for a raptor and I got a couple light pin stripes I need to buff out. Lots of fairly deep water crossings which were cool. Outside of being a tight trail it was a lot of fun. There is a huge area outside broken bow that traverses around broken bow lake which is a lot of primitive logging roads connecting various hunting leases. Got to throw it in Baja mode and tear it up! Overall a great weekend. Minus the pin stripes! If you have the AllTrails app pull up the K Trail on there to see the details. The western half is more difficult and has more rock crawling and takes a couple days to complete. Eastern half is easier and takes maybe a half a day. I can also share a .gpx file for Gaia if you like.d66494deedb2eb37250e71b8fd6ea306.jpg

I found the carbon fiber dash kit on www.sigaladesigns.com/product-page/raptor-17-up-dash-kit
Although it appears to be out of stock currently. They have other very nice pieces that are available in CF.

Just for reference, you can get fake CF for the interior too.

I think if you're going to get a lot of pieces, the real stuff might be a better deal. The fake stuff looks good, but this looks a little better. Also like how they did the steering wheel in separate pieces better.

A little behind, but two weekends ago we got out and explored some historic covered bridges. One of which is the the longest in the state and one of the longest existing in the US, and the other is the highest over any US waterway.
