Finally addressed the rust on the differential housing, did not even try the front driveshafts, wanted to see how this worked out. Corroseal. Including prep I spent maybe an hour.

Before (taken at ~15 months of ownership with no snow/ice/salt/beach):

I also discovered (i have the metal pan/plug on a 2018) that the Raptor's oil doesn't have one drain. Well maybe one main but there are several auxiliary drips to deal with. I made a bigger mess with a simple oil change that I ever expected.

Went ahead and emptied the catch-can at ~6,500 miles. Was maybe 0.75 inches deep, looked like all oil as in not drops floating on water. But when I dumped it there was a layer of milky muck at the bottom. Just glad that isn't in my intake/valve-train.

Thanks for posting this. That Corroseal does a great job on the rusty parts.

Show a pic of the front axles when you treat them.

Replaced the stock USB block with a USB C one.

Bought on Amazon for $50, and even came with plastic trim tools.

Fast charging AND Android auto works perfectly. It also lights up, unlock the stock block! Would definitely recommend for any Android users!d6f3dc938aa907c0be8565ac1d7769e8.jpg

It seriously unacceptable how much horrible the coating is on these truck frames/chasis components. I live in SoCal and the underside is rusted so horribly. I'm scarted what these trucks will look like in 10 years if they are not constantly re coated. You did a great job by the way! Diff looks brand new,.

To be able to use USB C to USB C cables. So all the benefits that come with that such as:

Faster charging
Doesn't take 3 tries to plug in
Etc
