Fabed up a high clearance exhaust. I was never super into the ********* stock tips. So I figured I’d try to make a high clearance one that dumps higher up. Haven’t painted the tips yet cause I wanted to test for first. I also think I’m going to lower the tips a bit more so there is a little more of the tip exposed.

looks awesome!! Ya I could see exposing maybe another inch of the tips and painted would look great..

And I'm going to fab up some exhaust shields were the pipe gets closed to the tire like stock had. I doubt it makes a difference but id rather be safe than sorry. HaHa

how far back did you cut the stock piping before installing the turn downs?

I had to cut back right where the stock pipe meets the spare tire in order to get the new pipe up high enough. Yeah my idea is to mold the stock heat shield to the new pipe or if that doesn't work I may have to use either a header wrap or motorcycle wrap
