Looks good, where’d you get the FRL fog light covers? Don’t think I’ve seen those on their site

TBH I didn't know they existed until I PM'd FRL on here and got a price on everything I ordered in one shot. Chris recommended them and made me a really nice deal on the order. Very pleased with the way everything turned out on the fitment side of things. Only thing is I wish I could have color matched the mudflaps to the trim instead of them being black. However, when xovered in mud they match perfectly.

So I received my deflector today and I see alcohol pads and a Surface Prep pad, the alcohol is a no-brainer to remove wax and contaminants so the adhesive sticks but what in the world is the Surface Prep pad?

Preps the surface (after cleaning with alcohol pad) so that the adhesive tape sticks MUCH better. Only use the prep on the areas where the adhesive tape is going to stick, as it leaves a sticky mess.

So it’s additional adhesive of bonding compound? I’ve been thinking of ordering similar but not if it’s an abrasive pad of some kind.

I don't like the sounds of that at all I'm going to use my own 3M wax and grease remover and completely strip the paint of any contaminants and waxes and if it doesn't stick I'll throw it in the trash can, I'm not going to use this prep pad it scares me

I’ll be watching to see your results. I need something in the front until I get ceramic and paint protection film.
