More that Laney is judging you for such a dirty undercarriage (giggity).
As long as the shiny… well kinda shiny side is up and the greasy side is down… you’re doing ok. I’m too old and creaky to bend over and power wash the underneath

Well… I had to remove my Foutz diff skid plate and send it back. Apparently it was the wrong one. I thought it wasn’t fitting up the best, so I called and send some photos of the parts I had via email.
Received and email that I had correct hardware kit.
I emailed back whether or not I should be concerned that the parts were marked Gen 1, given I have a Gen 2.
Being that I’m impatient, I went ahead and installed it and it did go on with some fiddling and thankfully no modification of the parts, which I was contemplating. Shortly after I posted my handiwork on here yesterday, I got the email saying it was the wrong part.
It’s likely my wife ordered the wrong one( it was a Christmas present) but given I have to live with her, I didn’t present it that way, I’m sure all you married guys understand. At any rate, shout out to Alex at Foutz Motorsports, he’s gonna ship out the correct part as soon as they receive the Gen 1 skid plate back. IMG_0572.jpegIMG_0578.jpeg

Getting ready for the beach and surf fishing. FYI, one of the main reasons I have a Raptor(2 actually) is because I got my F-350 hopelessly stuck in the sand at Cape Hatteras last trip. I’m not a newbie to sand driving, I’ve had multiple vehicles on the beach over 30 years. If I get stuck this year, I’ll pull it out with the other Raptor, I got ALL the recovery equipment. And if I get them both stuck and another rotted out Chevy pulls them out…. You’ll never hear about it!!

When I got mine it didn't fit right, so I called. They asked for pictures. It had "Ford performance " cut into it. Was told that it was a prototype and they had been looking for it, would I please send it back. I did the right thing and did so. Damn it!!

The bracket going over the top was wrong but bottom piece was correct and that is the part that had the "Ford Performance ".
