Here’s my view, it’s lower and definitely took some getting used to. Biggest thing is not being able to see my kids in the back seat when they’re acting like jerks ti each other when the screens on but I just say “turn screen off” yell at them then turn screen back on.

Traded in the Gen 2 for a 2023 with 16k miles in Avalanche. Rides like a dream. Really wild how much better this is over the Gen 2! Glad I made the jump.

Mounted the camera inside just above the rear sliding window. Looks great during the day, but as soon as it gets dark out, the tint on window is too dark and can’t really see anything. Looks like im gonna have to mount outside above the plate.

That doesn't seem much, if any, worse than looking at the factory mirror at night
