is the mirror powered via separate power source i.e usb or cigarette lighter? I know the fitcamx in my GX550 is powered with the inline plug to the oem mirror.Yes, I installed a rear facing camera that plugs into the Wolfbox.

X2. The only thing I miss from my GMC is the rear view camera mirror.Awesome. Would you show what that looks like and how you mounted? I may buy one for that alone.
Yep in addition to the camera kit, I also did the hardwire kit, license plate bracket, and the OEM bracket. I don't think I would install this kit without at a minimum the OEM bracket and the hardwire kit. That's pretty cool. Did you get any of the installation add-ons or the basic kit?
Actual install took maybe 30 minutes. Running the rear wire under the truck with it being near 0 F in my garage was a huge PITA and took about an hour. Wire doesn't like the cold weather which makes trying to snake it through the chassis a tad harder. I was also freezing my *** off so had to pop into the house to warm up every few minutes.I'm looking into that ... how long did it take to install?
I show this in my movie which I included in the OP but here's my install. This should help I hope: G900Pro Raptor InstallAwesome. Would you show what that looks like and how you mounted? I may buy one for that alone.
Its hardwired to my fuse box. I used the provided add a fuses for a constant and switched lead. I show the exact fuses I use in my video posted ^^. This is where I will say, if you don't want GPS or G shock monitoring and only want to record while the truck is on, the Fitcam is probably the better option because of that inline power dongle and the camera housing looks great (almost invisible). I replaced my Fitcam with the WolfBox because, well...Youtube content... Having had both now, I see use cases for both. Just all depends on what you want from the cameras. Both camera use similar phone apps which are both as idiot-proof as they can be...is the mirror powered via separate power source i.e usb or cigarette lighter? I didn't have a digital mirror in my Sierra when I had it BUT I did have a torque converter that would scream really loud at start up. I do NOT miss that! LOL. The digital mirror certainly takes some getting used to. I turn it off at night using the voice command "Turn OFF Screen" which is super dope.X2. The only thing I miss from my GMC is the rear view camera mirror.
Yes sir, like mentioned above, the hardwire kit and OEM bracket are well worth it. License plate bracket is up for debate for the rear camera. The OEM bracket specifically because the Wolfbox mirror does not completely cover the factory mirror so it will look wonky, this would've bugged the hell out of me. The OEM bracket allows you to completely remove the factory mirror and use the WolfBox on its own. Thanks for the replies. Is this the exact model?
