Completely agree with you. Probably was an easier way but happy it works!

Nice. I like the way mine looks as well, I just wish it didn’t leak so bad.

I ran some clear silicone around the outside to seal the gaps. Sure I’ll pay for that decision one day but it didn’t leak after a wash

Installed the Spicer rear differential cover and added some Amsoil.

I hope you reused the stock bolts and also put some thread locker on them.
