Finished up another project this week. Took a couple tries as there weren’t any instructions from Foutz. On the 19+ trucks there 2 small fins that need to be ground down. Repainted the diff with Steel-it paint before mounting the skid.
What are off-road mods are you planning?

I’m probably keeping this truck relatively stock. I’ve got my navigation, comms and lighting pretty much where I want it. Might add some upper control arms if I can find some that work with the stock wheels. Waiting on Fox to release a set of race series shocks specific for the Gen3 before I decide on that or replacement springs. These trucks are plenty capable for me out of the box and I’d like to keep my warranty as much as possible. I’ve done the full build route and it’s not for me on a truck that’s also a daily.

That’s awesome, and useful!

is that spray on linex or similar product or a
sticker.
It's a sticker. They're called tuffskins and I purchased them off etsy. Put them on my 2020 because one of the guys that rides with me has a tendency to drag his feet in and out of the cab and scuff the sh!at out of my rockers. Figured I'd do the same on the gen 3 too.20210317_112151.jpg

I’ve been convinced that the running boards were on the wrong sides so I decided to switch it up. I think they line up better with the doors this way. Poor photos cause it’s dark and I’m in the garage but still…

This has been talked about before, To each their own. The problem with switching sides is you loose some rock protection with the fatter edge in the back. It is supposed to help catch stuff the front tire throws up behind the front wheel.
