What did you do to your Gen 3 today?

Found my GJ brake light is leaking water slightly. I’m incredibly disappointed with the unit, so I ordered the evil manufacturing one. I will be listing the GJ for sale soon

I put clear silicone on the top and sides of mine since I figured it would eventually leak.

The problem is none of the companies making these are putting the effort to 3D scan the existing surface of the taillight area, and as a result the water proofing seal is forced to do all the work of making the contours as well. With the GJ unit, I had good luck with mine doing two rounds of tightening. After tightening it the first time around, I waited a few months for the foam to compress and settle, then I tightened it again to get it water tight. I am guessing you are going to have the same problem with the evil unit.

The thing is if the only issue I had was the weather seal, there are a few things I could do to fix it myself, but it’s far from my only issue. That was just the straw that broke the camels back

Put the Eibach 1 inch leveling springs in.

Gave her a wash and couldn’t pass on a good photo op. Love it when AMB actually looks blue and not black.
