This thread has streaked from "what did you do to your raptor" into the detailing thread.....
Anybody doing something other than cleaning their street queen?

Eddie

CbcGeneral,
I keep myself and my truck clean too; this thread has always been my favorite, seeing what others are doing to improve our outstanding vehicles. However there has been a bit too much carnuba and dusting of vehicles in this thread.
Treating the sidewalls of your tires for god's sakes!!!!! Isn't there a detailing thread where one can wax eloquently on the benefits of the Cocoanut scent versus the Mango chutney essence???

Hi Eddie-

Not sure I follow your logic here.

People posting about detailing their trucks is technically on-topic and also works to "improve our outstanding vehicles", but that makes their trucks "street queens"?

And you say that you do wash your truck, but don't treat your tires, so that must mean what?

It doesn't matter if you wash your Raptor once a week or once a year, or if you offroad with it every day or not. Using good products and learning some tips makes washing easier also makes your truck look better when it is clean.

Not trying to start an argument, but just tired of hearing this nonsense.

PS- Car dusters are bad, they cause scratches in the paint. :ROFLJest:

Continuing on my audio upgrade install & sound deadening project. Just finished installing Exodus Anarchy mid bass drivers in the rear doors late last night and extensive sound deadening. Next up is the front doors, but have to order more CLD deadener first.
