What did u do to your raptor today?

Installed the red LED light for my Ford OEM alarm. Decided to put it on the door. There was no way I could see to hide the cable, so I improvised.

What cell booster are you running? Are you happy with signal gain? I ran one made by Wilson a few times and didn't see much better signal. Would like to find one that works.

It's a Wilson amp, works better in Mexico than in the states. From what I understand the cell towers control how much gain they will allow out to each device. I have been in some remote areas and with no service, turned it on and had 3-4 bars. I've also noticed it works better with a GSM(T-Mobile, AT&T) phone over a Verizon or Sprint phone.

I followed RDFTS lead and put the led in the instrument bonnet. I wanted it to be highly visible to any would be thief, not that it would stop them, but might make them think about it. I drilled a 9/32 hole, gave it a slight ream, the led fit snug and snapped into place.
