Started modifying my horns.

Cutting the wire to the under hood horn is the first thing theives do before they break into the truck. They can reach up from underneath and cut it.

I've picked up a splitter, a relay harness, and a second set of horns. I plan to split the signal behind the radiator where it starts, then armour up the wiring in front of the radiator, and run a second set of horns in a space where they can't access it with the hood down.

It'll serve the security function, and provide slightly louder horns as well.

I did a similar setup and went with four horns on my wife's new Edge in place of the *one* that Ford ships with new vehciles nowadays. Sounds like a dying seal. She has 2 on each side now. Properly loud.

Went to swap out hid bulbs. First t8 screw was stuck and then stripped out.. yay. Grabbed a t8 removal tool and it still didnt work and i think it stripped out more. Wtf.

Hopefully these screws are easy to find
Ugh, there’s always that one bolt, nut, or screw which makes a 5 minute job turn into a fiasco. Oh the shit weather up your way isn’t making things easier I bet.
