same issue as many of us had. i have to think instead of a lead frame replacement, they finally came up with fix that doesnt require the lead frame replacement. maybe @FordTechOne can shine some light
The programing change tells the PCM to check a second sensor if it looses signal from the trans speed sensor. The original programing did not do this and simply commanded the trans to be in first gear if it lost signal with the trans speed sensor.

Been searching the net and this site for Gen 1 rear wheel well liners. Can find them for anything except for a Gen 1.
Has anyone used the standard f150 liners with success ?
Or have a part number ?

I think ADV makes liners? I have stock bedsides with liners, was like that when I bought it. Also has +2 front fenders and liners that seem like the same material as the rear liners.

It’s a reprogram that prevents an unintended downshift. If there are specific DTCs set they will also replace the leadframe as part of the recall.
