Neighbor kid started his own detail business, so I supported child labor today.

There were some write ups here about a piece of the blend door actuator breaking and falling into the blower fan making one heck of a racket and vibration. I believe there was also a YouTube video included in one of the writeups showing how to get it out without tearing the whole dash out, which is what the dealers do.

Got an answer back from the dealeship and it was one of the actuator doors that broke off and went into the blower motor just like you said. I have the CarMax warranty on my truck so that is 100% covered minus the $50 deductible. Their warranty is painless to use. All the service tech had to do was call them and give them my information and had approval right then.

My brakes were also needing to be done too so I had them replace the front and rear brakes, replace the fluid in the front and rear differentials, and flush the power steering fluid. I was planning on doing the fluids myself soon, but since it was at the dealership, I had them go ahead and take care of it.

I could have done the brakes myself, but I just had eye surgery and I can't strain myself for the next few weeks. I'd rather pay someone to do all of that rather than to risk my eyesight.

Did the transmission cooler (Saudi cooler) upgrade and a B&M style transmission dipstick today. Seemed to me, mounting directly to the firewall was gonna make it difficult to thread the dipstick so I made a little bracket for mounting. Got the Spicer diff cover and an Afco intercooler coming up soon

1. Installed a RPG Trophy front bumper with addon bar for lights.
2. Ordered up a set of Morimoto XB headlights with amber DRL's
3. Ordered an Xtrusion Offroad Bed Cage

Been awhile since I gave my truck some love and the Baja racing season is once again upon us (the 500 is this weekend) so I have quite a few days of chasing in my future...

What cooler are you using for PS? I think it's a good. On my Tundra I used Howe cool tubes, might see if I can find a similar solution for this truck.
