If you haven't already, coat them with a ceramic type coating or maybe even rainX. I used Griot's Garage Ceramic 3-In-1 Wax since it buffs out clear like it does on paint.

I think you might be up for an academy award for music. It's amazing how much better something is with some good sound behind it. Just need some jump out the truck in full commando gear and empty a few mags to top off the video.

Finished installing a kill switch last night. Man I really want to show you the pics and how I did it but... The internet is a safe space, right? Figured after all this refurbishing etc. I have done on this truck it would get stolen here in Vegas aka LA 2.0. One more thing to deter until I drop some more cash into the money pit for a Ravelco.

I hit it with some ceramic x stuff I had laying around. Good tip.

Does anybody know the weight of a Gen 1 (steel) SCREW cab? I'm looking into options on removing either the cab or bed with a gantry-style lift like the photo, since a 2 post lift won't fit in my garage.
