FINALLY got my S1’s in the mail from BD after being back ordered. Don’t really see any Gen1’s with 3 lights I’m assuming because of the limited room. But the S1’s barely fit

I'd like to hear your comparisons of the S1s to the other lights. The specs on them from BD are pretty impressive for such a small light.

They’re SO bright. My other ones are squadron sports( wide angle and driving combos) , the S1’s LOOK like they have the same amount of output but that’s my eyes playing tricks on me. The S1’s are spots so the coverage isn’t as significant as the sports. But if you need a small pod , I would highly recommend them. My hood lights are KC Hilites which I thought were super bright but after wiring up the S1’s they blow them away. But I wouldn’t get the S1’s in anything BUT spot, because of the size and the coverage they wouldnt be able to give

Got the nav tv all hooked up, both cameras come on as advertised lol. Idk about the dvd part yet.

It was way easier than I expected(i over think thinks) the hardest part i ran into was the wires through the grommet, it wasnt fun squeezing underneath and having the grommet pop out and move around while trying to make a hole. As always i forget the shrink tube before connecting the wire lol. thanks @The Car Stereo Company for the help!

Not sure if ill do the aux wire up today, i have to test the wires cause only one switch lights up. But i probably should since the glove box is still off lol.

glad it wasnt too bad for you. its not terrible to do but first time can be a bit overwhelming if you arent sure
