Changed out the belt, tensioner, and idler pulleys this morning. Easier than I thought it would be. Not sure I’m a fan of the updated plastic pulley on the tensioner though.

Yes it is was...I was also going to do the tensioner, but saw the “plastic” new ones and passed. Also, looked into some billet high performance ones, but $$$$

I’m pretty sure I could just buy another idler pulley and put it on the tensioner. It looks just like the idler pulleys.

The updated Tensioner is much better having gone through 5 Tensioners now.
I even tried the Thumper Tensioner but it ate up two alternators in a month and with the Whipple compressor needing to be removed when replacing the alternator, this became a $$$ learning curve.
Thumper wouldn't even help or even listen to my problem, I wound up selling it to another member on this forum that was installing it on his NA Raptor.

Livernois sells a 8 rib system with the Thumper, I guess Thumper must have removed some tension since I haven't heard any problems.

Finally upgrading my cooling system: Full Race radiator, Afco dual pass heat exchanger with fans, mishimoto radiator hoses. My dang Roush lower heat exchanger brackets were rusted so bad I busted the bolt heads right off both of them...’cause nothing can EVER just be easy. Going to try to rig it until Roush sends me some new ones so I can put everything back together and start flushing the system tonight. Radiator is sexy...too bad nobody will ever see it. Y’all will have to validate me as usual I guess.

Are those the SPC performance cams? I have a set I need to install. I have the basic cams on now. They keep losing alignment after a weekend in the dirt. Happy I have lifetime alignment at pep boys.
