Rolled it about 3-4 times. Going around a corner and the rear slipped out and within seconds I went into the ditch and the rolling started. As we were rolling, I just kept thinking I am alive and when will it stop. My wife was screaming the entire time. We stopped right-side up on rubber which was amazing. She looked at me crying with blood running down her face and asked why did I do that. All I could say was I was sorry.

We both stepped out on our own. Went to the hospital to get checked out and other than being somewhat sore we thought we were alright. My right chest hurt and they said to keep an eye on it.

During the night, I was having difficulty breathing and my neck was getting puffy with air. Went to the near by hospital and after a cat scan, found that my lung was collapsing. They put a tube in my chest so I could breath. Was there for several days and it wouldn’t seal on its own so the med air lifted me out to a Denver area trauma hospital.

I am still in the hospital, going on over a week now and not close to home.

Don’t think so on another GEN1. My wife is so touched on the raptor community and how they have helped so much so far that she wants me to build up my GEN2 and keep off-roading and she said she will still ride with me. But that will be awhile as we are dealing with all the medical cost and being out of work right now. I just want to get home.

Get in on those raffles that Chris Kelley is doing, there are some great items that have been donated.

I’m in Denver if you need anything let me know hombre

Glad to hear your still moving, breathing and in recovery phase... That must have been a heck of a ride!

Weekend project complete. Installed a Badlands Apex 12k winch on the SDHQ hidden winch mount. Everything fit perfectly once I relocated the winch control box onto the skid plateab295a6d2f4d9e9f99324aa0c6a2a295.jpg86933fc51c6057bba2388baf22a855b5.jpgfa68a498c2f0a891322b54ebbefb8298.jpg8efc09fff4658c28576e767237b41d74.jpg4ade610098b74ad180f5c48177d987dc.jpg315001621043ca4d569142b2a81fe9c7.jpg

Whats the thing on the passenger side that you cut out the wind dam for? Also I'd recommend one of those flat link winch attachments like what Factor 55 does. I think it looks really clean. Does that winch have wireless capability?

Also holy **** I saw the picture of @RDFTS and I didn't put it together that it was you but then I saw it a second time.... but damnnnn glad you're alive. I donated to your GoFundMe

The thing on the passenger side is a battery disconnect for the winch. The Apex 12k does have a wireless remote but also has the option for wired. I will take a look at the flat links. Thanks for the tip.

Ah gotcha, I hard wired my winch but I really wanted to do a battery disconnect but never had the time to do so. I prefer having the wireless option so I don't have to pop the hood when I need to pull someone out, I generally just power in and power out... though the new Warn's apparently have a wireless clutch too so you can free spool too. Its on my list to upgrade eventually.
