Did a transmissions pan drop and fluid top off over the weekend. Noticed that my transmission shifts a lot better now then when it came out the dealer floor. Also found out the hard way how to check the tranny fluid level [emoji91] then I found the right tool. Also the dipStick we have in our 6r80 have two section to check level. A & B sections we have to go by section B while tranny is at 200 degree engine running and in Park.

Getting ready for a Mexico trip so I checked the oil, changed the stock lug nuts out(damaged more than half during removal) for 2" spline black lug nuts torqued to 150ft lbs, cleaned out the rear sliding glass window channel with air and applied a light touch of grease to stop the squealing, tested the battery and alternator, checked my tools, and replaced the stock air filter with a Spectre HPR10262 lifetime air filter.

Also got a picture of my engine bay after 4 offroad trips. The bottom pics was before those trips after a detail. Can't wait to get back from Mexico and clean it up again

I am not sure if I would want to run an oiled filter in Baja with silt. I prefer dry and sticking with stock. I carry extra with me and toss and change out. Are you taking an extra one with you so you can swap them and let the other one dry out after cleaning?

Im just headed to the beach to drink lol. I do want to do a Baja trip in the near future though. Hoping to find a beach somewhere to have fun on though. Know of any near Rocky Point?

I pulled my 5k mile air filter out and it didn't look anything like yours. Had dirt spots in the corners which was surprising because this was the event I just did a few months ago. Lots of silt, I thought the filter would be much worse
