I plugged a hole in my tire. Picked up a thick-gauge copper wire, which is kinda funny since I was just explaining to a customer they could trash their copper and use fiber on their datacenter refresh to reduce the volume of cabling above their racks. Karma?

Theeeeeen my truck died. It won't start so I'm kinda bummed tonight.
I've had somewhat of a history with it not starting when the gas is low. It happened to me once at 1/8th tank, had to roll it to the bottom of the driveway to start it.
Then earlier this week it happened a second time:
While I was turning into my sub division the engine cut. I came to a stop on a decline and it wouldn't start (gas was reading just below 1/4). I let it roll to the bottom and it started right up.
Then today when I went to flip my truck around so I could plug the tire, it wouldn't start (gas at 1/2). I rolled it down the driveway and it fired up. I flipped the truck around, plugged the tire, and now it won't start.
Rolled it down the driveway, still nothing. I hear the fuel pump starting up when I stick the key in. I tried the tapping the fuel tank trick, nothing. For the heck of it I threw 6 more gallons of gas in it bringing it just below 3/4 and it still won't start.

Guess I'll be getting it towed to the dealership tomorrow :supergay:
Check fuse 27. It's faulty.
Just mounted one of the KC Flex Dual Spots to my bed cover. Looks sick in that position and now going to just test wire it to see how the light coverage works. Will pick up a set of the amber protectors for them and I am thinking they will be perfect for SnoBall for rear ambers. (Still thinking of doing some vertex up high at the same time as the antennas getting mounted)

Will grab some pics once I get both of them mounted and wired.
That's a great idea.

I really should mount my antenna to the roof.

Ya i haven't let it get that low since that episode. So it was a fuse. I had decided it wasn't a fuse since it seemed to come and go, and i could hear the fuel pump starting.
After a bunch of troubleshooting i realized i couldn't hear the fuel pump any more. I opened the fuse box and #27 was fried, in half, and the terminal is a bit melted with a tiny bit of welding in the terminal.
I pulled the a/c fuse and stuck it in 27 and the thing fired right up.
Think I'll replace the junction box to be safe.

By myself and yes it was pain in the ass to get those in place. My jack broke down and i had to go back and lift it maybe every 10 min.

That sucks. I installed spring and bump stops at the same time and it wound up taking me 8 hours to get it done. It probably would have been a 3 hour job with help. I need to stop being so stubborn and start asking for help when I need it. Do you have bump stops yet? I have the SVC adjustable stops and am pretty happy with them.
