My wrap on the side was carbon fiber vinyl and when I waxed my truck the wax got stuck in it and stains it white. I read that peanut butter pulls the wax out so I gave it a shot.

Looks good as of now I haven't seen it in the sun yet it was getting dark when I was doing it.

Nothing but detail spray on the matte graphics. Maybe some H2O G&G from what I'm reading.

Matte graphics aren't like mine. My bed side wrap was custom done and it's made out of texted carbon fiber vinyl so even detail spray over time will cause build up in my vinyl since it contains wax. I did the peanut butter trick to get it out and now I'm gonna H20 G&G, I ordered it a couple hours ago!

The oils in the Peanut Butter just cover up the wax residue, it does not really clean or remove it.

You will need to make sure the PB oils are cleaned off the vinyl prior to using the H2O Guard & Gloss, or it can cause hazing or streaks.

Try using Revive Hand Polish to clean the matte vinyl, with the blue Hex Grip Applicator and a plush microfiber towel like the Double Soft.

That's what I was thinking it was doing

After I sprayed off all the peanut butter I used some all purpose cleaner to get all the oil off the truck.

I was giving this a try first before I bought the revive hand polish.

The All Purpose Cleaner will remove the oils from the vinyl. Rinse the area first so you are working on a wet surface, clean with All Purpose Cleaner and immediately rinse good. Do not let the APC dry on the paint or vinyl, do not work in the sun or on a hot surface. Work on small areas, rinsing as you go.

Since you say your vinyl is textured, use a small brush like the Trim & Lug Nut Brush to scrub with the All Purpose Cleaner. Just make sure the brush is a boar's hair detailing brush, cheapo brushes can scratch the paint and vinyl.
