Thanks to @Chris@FreedomMotorsports I installed my R1 Concepts Performance brakes and rotors and changed my oil with Amsoil.I bought a double flair tool so I could finally install my braided brake lines but ran out of time plus it was the first cold day of the year and the 38 degree weather helped me to **** out lol.

Thanks bro. I only took about a 15 minute cruise after I bedded them in but I can absolutely tell ther is a significant improvement over the stock setup and hopefully they are even better once I stop procrastinating and install the brake lines lol. Funny thing is I didn't even need brakes since I just put a set of OEM front rotors and pads on less than 1000 miles ago but since I have a mod addiction I couldn't pass up the sale lol. So if anyone wants a pretty much brand new set of OEM front rotors and pads let me know I'll make you a smoking deal. I really hate to see them go to waste.

Spent the last few hours looking over this thread and scratching my head. I mainly just want to know if anyone had any issues with their longer +2 or +3 length brake lines being too long?

Also, any of you guys like @2014RubyRed that converted to the 4 line kit have any issues?

I'm tempted to just keep it simple and get the kit for my year...,mainly curious if the extra length of the lines caused any issues on install?

Pic for attention:

I ordered the +2 and when I held them up where they go it looked like the would be perfect and not be tight like the OEM lines. I decided to go with the 6 line kit because I figured if you're going through the trouble of getting rid of the 4 rubber lines to the calibers why leave the other 2 rubber lines on. But then again I'm a lot more **** than most people lol. I bought a double flaring tool for $25 from Pepboy's since it was cheap and am going to try tackling it my self. It looks like the hardest part is going to be bleeding the brakes.

I'll call dibs.... but probably won't need them for a while. Lol....

I have the R1 Concepts on Night Raptor and love them. But for Little Red stock is enough. But will probably take a while till she will need new brakes.

Thanks buddy. Yeah, I actually ended up getting the 6 line +2 kit from a friend on here. Going to do the same as you, upgrading all the lines. Talked to some guys and got part #'s to replace the hard lines over to 2011 lines to allow for the last 2 brakes lines. I don't trust myself doing the flaring. Let me know if you want those part #'s.

I also got the R1 concepts drilled and slotted rotors and posi-quiet ceramic brake pads. Your setup looks killer! Can't wait to get my brakes and lines installed!

Thanks for the reply!

You guys fight it out to the death and let me know who wins lol. And just so you guys know by smoking deal I figured $40+ shipping to people I like lol. If it was somebody close and they were picking them up I was just goig to say a case of beer.

Oh ya I'll take the part numbers. I didn't realize you could do do that. It would probably be easier and I can always return the flaring tool. Confidence was also part of the reason I didn't put them on today lol. How much were the new lines?
