@PropDr, that has to be a terrible draw if you ever had to quickly, what's your feedback on that?

The 'Draw' is just fine if you are familiar with your gun.
Also pictured is the semi concealed position with the seat at the most rear position.
With the seat in the normal driving position the gun is hardly noticeable and with me sitting in the truck not at all.
You can also rotate the gun on the magnet to get the grip in to a position acceptable for novices, @Jimbo

@PropDr I like your fire extinguisher mount under the seat, how did you pull that off?
I posted the install some time ago...
But here are the items I used, one each for both front seats.
By the by: the extinguisher is mounted to the front of the seat, not under it.

On the inside wall of the console would have been a great place.
So, @Jimbo likes the gun inside the console, but thinks that my positioning is a 'Terrible Draw'...?

I think it is a better POSITIONED option, but still time consuming to draw. I prefer drawing straight from my holster, which I've been able to practice and fire at matches and the range. This is my most comfortable option.

Kinda hard to draw from a holster sitting in the seat buckled up. I haven't solid mounted one yet to the console but I think its in the future. Right now I just tuck the glock in a Galco NSA II between the seat and console, its a quick holster to put back in the waistline w a j clip.

Absolutely correct; especially for me, my cc is sob.

This would be the only other concern I'd have with that setup. You need to still be wearing your holster then. If a gun fight breaks out, you are not staying in your truck, and you need a place to secure the weapon should you have to go hands on. Should empty the weapon and practice drawing from a holster while seated in the vehicle. All aspects of CCW should be accounted for to be responsible. JMO, and if you're comfortable with that setup in your truck and practice with it, then it shouldn't be an issue.

Most of my trips are 30+ miles and include a stop at a daycare at some point so the gun normally is not on my hip in the truck unless its a short gas station or store trip. I have carried cross draw in a cover six type (9-10 o'clock position) it feels much better than the 4-3:30 position with the seat belt buckle but still not easy to get to unless you unbuckle. I don't think there is a perfect way to carry in the truck without making some compromises, before my son was born it would get tossed on the passenger seat or in the cup-holder area.

My sob holster stays in place after I remove the gun.
I don't notice it anymore, it's just like some extra lumbar support.
