Painted the calipers and rotor hats yesterday. Was not happy with how the paint did not lay down at all. Used the Dupli-Color kit and there was very little working time on the paint. Wasn't even that hot out. I had also read reviews to use a better quality brush, and even with using a good brush, they are full of brush marks. Did two coats, applying the second coat after about 45 minutes. Brush marks drives me nuts, may have to order new brakes now.

Installed the new black Gorilla lug nuts.

I picked up a second floor jack for this project. Makes it much easier to get this beast off the ground.

Nobody is going to notice the brush marks except for you and only you. Man, following the rules and not using the pumpkin to jack the rear.

That's weird when I did mine red it went on real thick and then flattened itself out with no brush marks at all. Was it like painting with glue? That's how the red was. I used a 1" foam brush also on the second coat which evened it out a little better

Finally did mid-perch. Figures one side was easy to get the allen screw out, other side was stripped so I just drilled it out. Wednesday I get the alignment done.

That's exactly what happened to me. I was all happy after the first one and was like shit this is easy. Then I broke the head of the allen wrench off in the set screwon the second one. Lol.

Yeah, that sucks big time. I was very glad to hear the screws were not needed afterwards to say the least.

Changed brake rotors and pads in all four corners.

Went with eLine Series - Cross Drilled and Slotted Rotors. Posi-Quiet Ceramic Pads.

Thanks @Rookie and @Chris@FreedomMotorsports for your speedy responses and shipping.....

Exact set up I went with.....if you haven't done so already, I would suggest that you add SS brake lines to get the top performance out of the rotors and pads. Made a big difference for me.

Thanks for the advice. Can't believe the braking change with just the brake components.

Waiting for the group buy deal on the lines and will install them when I install the 3.0's that are on the horizon.....
