Today I wrote Ford a lemon law letter for the sync system.

The short story is that I have taken it in for repair 8 times for a total of 16 days and this is not working. The sync system navigation screen is black each time the truck starts up and after about 5 minutes reboots for several minutes and comes to life. Dealer has done a master reset, upgraded software, replaced APIM twice and replaced BCM. They have worked with Ford hotline and a Ford engineer. Nothing is helping. They also managed to scratch up the whole dash while working on it.

This is very much - no bueno.

.

You might consider hiring a lemon law attorney. A friend of mine went through this on a Porsche cayman not too long ago. It was a lease and they ended up fixing the issue but Porsche covered all his attorney fees, which I believe is mandated by the Lemon Law, and they reimbursed him for all the lease payments he had made up until that point. Let someone who does it for a living handle it.

I'm not sure, but I may still do that. I'm continuing to work with the dealer but I have no confidence that they can fix it.

I installed my Deaver+3 leaf springs and a SVC adjustable bump stop setup. If anyone plans on installing springs yourself make sure you have a helper. If I wasn't an idiot and had someone helping me I probably would have been done 3 hours sooner. Those ******* springs are heavy. Either that or I'm getting old as ****. But everything is in and man does it ride SOOO much better. This probably should have been the first mod I did. Thanks @svc for for awesome products and even better customer service.
