Finished up relay for new switches that were installed as well. NOTE: hold on tight to the dremel - if it gets away from you it will fu*k up your headliner!!!

Thanks Chris @CrownOffroad for your technical assistance - it went as smooth as you said it would!!!!

Did the same thing on my bumper when I was installing my flush mounts. I didn't learn my lesson on the first one either and did it to both. Makes me kinda nervous to do the switches myself. At least on the bumper I can't see it when I'm driving. Lol.

I know!!! That's what ****** me off the most. Oh well, at least I did it and can't blame it on some other unfortunate sole.....

If you do your own switch, once you get through the headliner fabric, drill a bunch of small holes around the perimeter of the cutout in the plastic. Then use a sharp knife to cut between the holes as much as possible. Then all you have to do is dress up the edges with the dremel. Makes it a lot easier/safer. Good luck!!!!

@2014RubyRed just hit it with a black sharpy

Yeah - I just sealed the edges up with some gorilla super glue to get the frayed part to lay down. Gotta look for a charcoal grey sharpie - the headliner isn't really all that black when you get to looking at. My OCD kicks in when I see that stuff and it doesn't match perfectly!!!!!

I'm the same way with the OCD. I would go even more nuts if the grey didn't match. Lol. At least with my bumper I'm having it wrapped satin black so I wont be able to see it anymore. I'm doing my switches next week so thanks for the advice and if I do happen to screw up I'll make sure to post some pics so you're not not alone. Lol.
