Anyone have an issue with their radiator cap? I had a small coolant puddle on the garage floor Saturday. I tightened the cap and drove the truck. Mostly steam and a little coolant so I pulled the cap again and straitened the rubber gaskets.

I stopped by Ford today and they would replace the radiator cap under warranty but I would have to leave my truck for half a day and I didn't have time. So I bought a new radiator cap since I am traveling next week.

Anyone else have this problem or know of others?

Half a day to switch out a radiator cap, are you kidding me? I have not had any issues so far.

I tend to smell anti freeze now and then but never found the source, bet you its from my cap. Thanks for pointing out your problem.

Half a day to "investigate" the problem if I want to cover the $23 part under warranty. It didn't matter that you could see a little dribble from the cap... nope the new service writer had to do it this way.

No thanks...

Halifax nova scotia, usually the snow is gone by now and just the snow banks in parking lots. We broke records this year. I've never seen so much snow in the area, I'm flying home to it tomorrow.. Salty truck for another month or more.

I hear ya! I grew up in eastern Maine and use to take the CAT over there. I don't think it runs from bar harbor any more! Didn't realize you guys get that much snow there.. We also had a record breaking season here in the Boston area!

Well I put the Raptor up on a lift at a friends shop to inspect everything and re-torque the suspension before we head out next week for a mini-vacation. While not loose everything needed a little torque after 20,000 miles.

One thing for sure on the way home everything seemed to quiet down underneath... I heard some clunks here and there which is why I did the re-torque... no more clunks.

With the undercarriage LED lights are on and you can see how Noah ran the LED strips on the running boards.

I also installed a D-Bug Screen so the spring buggies won't clog up the radiator...

Original battery took a blue acidic shit today. Had less than 70k on it too. Bleh. Oh well it's a wife/nag free upgrade to a yellow top optima. Gonna throw it in after dinner.
