I had my B3A5T quoted for sound deadening as well. They quoted me $775 for the entire cab (screw) and was wondering how it compared to what they quoted you for just the dynamat. If you don't mind sharing. They don't use dynamat though, it was something called hushmat? if I remember correctly.

I should read the rest of the thread before asking questions. They quoted me $400 for the hushmat stuff and 8 hours labor so I guess it is in the same ballpark.

Getting oil change right now at Ford dealer. $25? It would cost me more to buy the oil wholesale... I don't get it. My Benz was like $180 for a B service.

I'm not sure I understand. CarToys quoted me $2200 for Dynamat, 2 guys and a full day labor. If it was $750, I would have done it right then. Lol

it all depends on who does it and what kind of material you use. and how much material you use. sure you can find a cheaper shop, but at what cost? less material, or cheaper material, not removing the entire interior, only one layer of metal in the doors, not doing the roof? there are a lot of factors in getting the entire truck sound deadened. check my build thread for how we do sound deadening here at our shop.

Way louder than stock, but have a higher pitch... sounds very European. The don't connect right to the stock wires, you have to wire it up yourself. I eliminated the stock connections, as I have no plans to go back to the stock horns.

I don't think I have ever used my horn, where is it?

Did the first oil change on my Raptor today. My regular mechanic who does the work on our Audi's will allow me to do my own oil change if I want. It's nice having access to his lift and tools.

It's pretty bad-ass that this guy knows everything from Ferrari Testarossa's to old Mercedes to modern Ford Raptor's.

Gave mine a blood transfusion. However, it seems the Hulk himself installed the oil filter last time, but thankfully had an oil filter wrench to get it off. She now has Redline 5W20 running thru her veins.

Also adjusted the hood lights a bit better and topped up fluids.

Redline and amsoil are the only fluids i reccomend. Im a dealer for amsoil so thats what i run full time now, but back in racing, redline and amsoil was what i ran.
