The Cracker Raptor
Today I pulled out my trailer for the first time with the Raptor.
I was very pleased with being able to use the same setup I had with my '06 Titan with no adjustments. The trailer sat level and the Raptor dropped about a inch.
I also find it funny how the Raptor is almost as wide as my trailer and the stock side-view mirrors are pretty good. I will still add a couple of trailer mirrors I have found on Amazon that have great reviews.
As for towing my trailier, not a problem. It was a little twitchy but I'm sure that has more to do with high winds today. Power wise the Raptor had no issues and the integrated brake control is awesome.
The trailer is a '07 Fleetwood Nitrous Hyperlite and it has a max weight of 7700lbs. The tongue weight is about 560lbs. which is probably why the back in didn't drop all that much.
Today was a short trip to the shop for a routine service inspection and I will take the trailer to Panamint Springs on 02/14 which is about 300 miles from my home. I'm looking forward to this trip
