It looks like he has the vortex I think. It was Chris at Freedom that pointed me to their lifetime warranty when I went to buy some off of him. That was great of him and another reason why I will continue to buy from him.

Couldn't find one on their web site. Is it a gel battery. If it's a plate lead acid bat. The optima is a better choice.

When I had my issues, one of the thing I noticed was the indicator had turned red. I mentioned it to the dealership but they never replaced the battery. It's been green ever since and haven't had any battery related issues. What causes the indicator to change?

I can report on the vortex mud flaps, mine havent broken yet. Although they have been sitting on my work bench since summer...

I'm pretty sure it's just an electrolyte/water level indicator. But I think once it's red you need to refill with distilled water, charge then flip you battery upside down momentarily to uncage the red ball and let the green ball move back in place. Then pray your battery doesn't die. Mine is red right now and that's what I'm gonna do. I'm going to snoball so I don't want battery issues!! I think it's the original bat. I own a 2011. So I'm due.
