Yeah, this particular red top has always seemed kinda weak since it was new and it’s the second one I’ve had with the same symptoms (had another one in another truck). Recently started buying Odysseys anytime I need a new battery for a truck and have had good luck with them so far.^^^^What he says. If the battery is indeed dying and only a couple years old depending on where you bought it maybe it's still under warranty. I've had problems with a previous red top too, it was about as old and was warrantied.
You just lift the truck to allow them to droop out, that way they are extended the same as when they were first charged. For the guys that have the Schrader valves on your shocks. Do you have to take the shock off to test
Much obliged, ordered some refresh parts and some valves from Kartek. You just lift the truck to allow them to droop out, that way they are extended the same as when they were first charged.
Highway miles help float that number.who the hell gets 12.1mpg.... ya effin pússyfoot
sometimes with the RPG valves you have to put an extra oring at the bottom to get them to seal. I also put a little RTV around the top or on the non threaded parts to ensure a good seal.Much obliged, ordered some refresh parts and some valves from Kartek.
Noted, i only ordered two(for the front). Then i assumed the rears have the same setup. Is that correct?sometimes with the RPG valves you have to put an extra oring at the bottom to get them to seal. I also put a little RTV around the top or on the non threaded parts to ensure a good seal.
I tow every day. (Not the raptor) Dubble axel trailers are a lot less "bouncy" when I had a single axel my stuff would be all over sometimes. It still happens but a lot less often with the Dubble axel. Tools traveling in an inclosed Traler....... I do have to say it is tough on them. What Your trailer for?Btw, any of you who tow a lot, would you get a single or tandem axle trailer. Gross weight will be the same and below the Raptors tow rating.
