Shop called. they were able to snag a tank and it already delivered. I should have it back next week. While installing the shocks. discovered some tweaker drilled my gas tank. too high to get any gas but just enough of an inconveinence.
Insurance is handling it since my deductible is cheaper than replacing myself. Now we wait.

Negative Ghostrider. Or at least that's the same conclusion I came to (not replaceable), along with the fact that the OEM UCA is pretty cheap so might as well just get a new one.Does anybody know if the OEM Raptor UCA's are designed where you can replace the balljoints? I've found a seller claiming they carry the part, but the old one doesn't have a locking C-clip on the bottom. Also, the top doesn't have a removable dust cap and it is a smaller dia than the bottom, so there's no way to press it UP out of the control arm. WTF, Ford?
This is (allegedly) the replacement for the SVT model. It's due to arrive today, so I can see if it looks right, (it includes a conventional C-clip), but since I was able to replace the balljoints & bushings on the LCA's it seemed like the upper would be similar. BTW, the ALLDATA website has NO DATA on replacing balljoints on the UCA's.Negative Ghostrider. I remain skeptical haha! Maaaaaaybe for "standard" F150...This is (allegedly) the replacement for the SVT model. Further evidence is Ford manual shows how to swap that LCA balljoint but not the UCA balljoint (just the whole "Upper Arm")...This is (allegedly) the replacement for the SVT model.
