What did u do to your raptor today?

I'm hoping it's just those 2 bolts holding the module to the frame, and the 2 plastic clips that hold the insulated brake lines to the back of the coil bucket that needs to be removed to get those lines out of harm's way and safely get in there with a cutoff wheel to remove the coil bucket top.

Yeah I got aftermarket, not factory ford ones. They're solid one piece so I shouldn't have any issues... My buddy who is a tech says they have 21.5 mm sockets exactly for this situation so I'll order one and see how it works...


Yeah I am happy with how long the stock ones lasted seeing as its been almost a decade. I hope I dont have to chisel them off, but I knew I was going to hold off on doing any work until the old lugs could just go in the trash!
I was able to cut the thin tin skin back far enough to get a socket on the solid lug under neath using a sharp small chisel. I didn't hurt the wheels at all.

I made quick work of mine using a Diablo hole saw bit on my drill. Cuts the outer casing off and then you can finally get them off. Can’t remember the exact size of the bit but it can be purchased at home depot. It worked like a charm for me.

Finally got the new Bull Bar mounted after a kid decided to crush the other one in a parking lot !

Powder coated this one black (looks better), and fabricated a steel subframe behind it for the tow hooks.

Is this the Westin Bull Bar? Was curious to know if the bar obstructed the Ford lettering on the Raptor and this would make it appear as though it doesn't correct (or does it at the same level as the bar)?

The passenger side clearance, however, looks tighter than the jeans we all wore in the '70's.... I believe the expression was "grease up & slide 'em on".20230925_084754.jpg20230925_084742.jpg20230925_084701.jpg
