I have not but you can pump the gear oil out without removing the front cover. Makes oil changes a ton easier

Theres a radiused tube tool that will reach down inside the diff and remove "most" of the oil. I still can't source it alone, though. I've only seen it as part of a very expensive kit.

Ive used that on both the front and rear differentials. It gets enough of the oil out

I did not know that. I was recently told there are certain 8.8 covers that fit there. Thinking about doing that soon.
