It seems like I’m under a vehicle at least once a month for a “wtf was that sound” check LOL
between the trucks and cars im wrenching on something pretty much all the time. truck feels a lot better now with new ball joints and upper control arms. tie rods come in on wednesday but those are easy

I asked the place that did my bed Liner if they could hit my step boards real quick, and they looked at me like I was crazy. I guess I’m going to snag some raptor liner and refresh them.
Can’t go wrong with the raptor liner ! Did the same to mine and rear wheel wells. Holding up greatc

Then this happened. A 5/16" socket & extension fell off the water pump hose bracket and disappeared into the void.. It's now below the plastic intake, behind the engine front. , and unreachable. Has anybody used a garden hose to drive out something? What about running a length of twine through there, and fishing it around to catch it? It's a short 1/4" drive socket and extension, maybe 3" long. I'm out of ideas.

Did you try using the magnetic flexible pickup tool ? I see you have tried with the flexible claw pickup tool. I think twine will be too limp. Maybe use tie wire instead with a noose like loop on the end but you will need to be able to see it and use the claw or the magnet to hold it.
