I would DEFINITELY still locate the ends of the drain tubes in the rear rockers… yes the fluid film obviously prevents moisture which in turn stops rust. But it’s not meant to be applied within puddles or pockets of water. my passenger was JUST long enough for me to touch it with my finger tips inside the drain hole. My driver side however was too short, I could not feel it in the drain hole. So I opened up both panels on the inside of the cab and from there once I located them i put brass barbs on and extended them, at that point I could reach them and bring them outside of the drain holes in the rockers. It’s a REALLY good piece of mind knowing that water isn’t just sitting in there.
My Lowe's didn't have the Zip tape so I just got wider Gorilla tape, we'll see how it holds up. I peeled the panel back from the C pillar but I'm lost. Where does one have to dig to find the drain tubes?

I’m sure the gorilla tape will be great aswell , lots of guys running it.
This is the driver side right? It’s definitely in there lol. If I remember right, it is down closer to the floor where the opening is to see it. You can also pull the headliner down partially in the rear and splice in the new section of hose onto the nipple of the actual sunroof tray frame where the hose starts

Yea, if the nutsert comes lose again and I need to replace the whole thing I'm just gonna nut and bolt it from the inside than deal with that.
There is a generic brand one on Amazon that has a flag nut on it. It requires you to take off the plastic on the tailgate to pop it in, but it would probably do the trick too.
