I just broke the plastic around the edges and used a standard usb cable from one of the big box stores, been in my glove box for the last dozen years, used to use it for iPods when that was a thing, now I don’t use it at all.

Kinda funny but i was thinking the same thing this morning. Idk what i could use it for. If it worked with HD for movies or charging a go pro then yeah itd be great. Lol oh well. Thanks pat247 for the help.

would still be good for charging stuff, I have a flashlight that charges by usb, stuff like that.

The 2nd usb on my hidden nav connector does when the ignition is turned on. If that is the same on yours? One of the smarter guru's would know.

the second usb does charge. just slowly. its a standard usb connection so it does everything a usb should do.
