Did a tire rotation today, Kendas are wearing amazing for the size/tread pattern. Purchased new with 19/32” and just under 4,000 miles (70% city/30% freeway) later they’re measuring at 18/32”. At this rate I’ll get 40k miles easy out of these tires. Very happy with the tire purchase, they’re quiet too.

I will look into Kendas (never heard of them) as I’m at about 60k on my General Grabber ATX with only 3/32” left. Going to get new tires real soon and will probably go back to BFG KO2’s

They were MUCH cheaper when I purchased late last year, I guess everything has gone up since then. I ran KO2 for a while but barely got 36k out of them before they were around 4/32”. Maybe I got a bad batch but I was unimpressed with the KO2. I had Grabber ATX for my last set and they were amazing, long life, quiet and much better then KO2. Also KO2s run way small, so a 37 KO2 is closer to a 34” tall tire. The Kenda runs true to size, mounted the 37” Kenda measures at 36.4” tall.

The photo below shows the 35” KO2 next to the 35” Grabber ATX. The KO2 was closer to a 33”. BFG can’t measure correctly when they build tires. Ha

Yeah, that's because they are 315/70 not 35/12.5

Lots of different places
Put the deposit down on the Icon Stage 4 kit; since I'm already in, is there anything else I should get alongside it besides shackles and tie rods?
There's a loaded question hahaha! Not based on that particular kit but my own...

SHOULD (if you don't already have of course):
Alignment cams for all four LCA pivot bolts, or even better KHC/whoever slot eliminator
Stainless brake lines, fresh brake fluid, maybe set of Speed Bleeders
Left front leaf spring pivot bolt that you'll likely have to cut off (well should be included in your installed price)
Gorilla lugs, LCA balljoints if worn, LCA bushings if worn, inspect CV boots and rack boots and IWE lines (or eliminate IWE's)

COULD (just because you'll be in there anyway, i.e. "perfect excuse"):
Brake rotors/pads, calipers or paint 'em
Diff cover/fluid changes
Aftermarket skidplates (did you say you had them?)
New wheels, new 37" tires, glass, pinch welds, front & rear bumpers, dovetail, turndown exhaust, bed rack, supercharger...oh that's my list heh.

Alignment cams: Done
Stainless brake lines: Done
Replacement leaf bolt: Included.
I'm fine with stock lugs unless there's a reason I should swap them out. I'll have them take a look on install. I've considered upgrading IWE lines, but I can do that with a tire off so I'm not too worried.

Brakes: R1 Concepts
Diff Cover: Mag Hi-tec w/Royal Purple... haven't done the front yet. Have considered going to the off brand version of the Ford Racing diff cover after watching Gale Banks video on diff covers.
Skidplates: I already have protection bro.

I like the factory beads, albeit they're heavy. No plans on 37s just yet, so no pinch weld just yet. ADD doesn't make the front bumper I wanted any more. MBRP doesn't make their turndown exhaust in anything but aluminized steel so thats a big turn off. Bed storage/rack is something on my short list. I just want to figure out what works with the bed rack (leitner designs) I have, and whether I want 1 or 2 spares or if I want the tire to be standing up or flat on the bed. I would like to make it somewhat interchangeable so I can swap between bro-verlander and desert running in an afternoon.

The supercharger can wait until gas prices aren't so pain inducing.
