also if you read this GJ, replace those cheap junk U clips..seriously
Waiting on BD lights for mine now, you mean the Tinnerman nuts? Not a lot of meat there to work with on the stock sheetmetal, not sure a regular nut would help would it? I mean, those same kinda nuts (albeit way bigger) hold up all the stock skidplates...

the ones included with the light were cheap and pushed through far too easy. I screwed the long allens in and it would just fall out. So i swapped out to some nutserts i had. Much easier and better. But i understand not everyone has those on hand.

The OEM clip nuts work great, the cheap replacements in the kit were just trash.

edit:

Ok that makes sense! The ones I got must be an upgrade, the ones you had are definitely the cheesy version:

Good thing you had the nutserts, those things are awesome.

Did you have any issues with that center cargo light connection I was warning about?
i didnt have any issues besides buttoning up the outside and not realizing i didnt slide the spade connector through the little hole to the headliner.

I pulled both rear side panels and the rear of the headliner loose so i could reach up and unplug the rear socket.

I will say the sheet metal by the airbags is sharp and has barbs. Cut my finger good looping the wires behind the airbags to run down the floor.

Good deal, all in all, besides that issue I had install was easy and I’m loving the setup. I got some SDHQ A pillar brackets and BD squadrons for Christmas I need to get installed, getting the hood aligned properly is making me hesitant about tackling it myself. Anyone else take this on solo?

Will do, im in the same boat, my led bed light strip lights are on the same switch as my rear amber GJ lights. AUX 1 is my last switch and that will be for the pillar lights.

RPG makes a solution for adding some more switches which I might do. I dont know how much more light I need at this point though, but like an addict, I can't get enough it seems.Screenshot_20211227-192733_DuckDuckGo.jpg
