Did some preventative work on some body hardware. Took out the bed bolts one at a time and put never seize on them, also did the running board mount bolts.
Began fabricating a PS reservoir . Just need the cap put on.
I picked up all the fluids to do a total fluid change. While the trans pan is off I will weld on a drain plug and a fitting for a dipstick.
Never understood the stupid no dipstick thing.
My new wheels and Viair compressor showed up on friday also ..... so it has been a great weekend.

I went with this pan. It has a drain plug and is $36. I reused the OEM gasket except I cleaned the trans, pan and gasket then used the right stuff RTV to "lube" the OEM gasket. Flawless...

I used that pan and an OEM filter. I flushed this way.

I'd just get a pair of heat-resistant mechanics gloves instead of the dipstick kit. I do have a length of hose I use to drop down from the engine bay and stuff into the boss for the trans plug and a funnel that plugs into the hose to fill.

I have a 31-row transmission cooler for a 6.0 Powerstroke (it's fricken huge) and an aftermarket trans cooler I use for power steering cooling both installed. The 6.0 trans cooler is as wide as the OEM trans cooler and as tall as the radiator.

I'll update this with more pics.

I literally used scrap angle iron from a bed frame I was throwing away to make mounts for both coolers.. It's just boilerplate prototyping that works for now.

I'll have developed a press bent sheet metal kit that makes a big FORD trans cooler and a good-sized Hayden trans cooler as a PS cooler a bolt-on after I am out of CA. It will also mount this reservoir with a filter on the DS of the truck.

The Viair I chose has a 100% duty cycle and is designed for permanent mount, which will be behind the front bumper. It will fill a 35" tire 15 lbs to 30lbs in about 3 minutes and has pretty good reviews. I will be surprised if I use it more than once a year. This isn't my main offroad vehicle. I have a very well-equipped early Bronco that I run a York engine-driven air compressor on, which is the best setup IMHO.

I've done engine-driven, electric, and now I do solid mounts for a 40lb bottle of N2 (few moving parts and a tank that inflates regardless of the crankshaft or electrical activity) and plumb it into the OVS air up/down system. I mounted the controller in the bed.

Small heads up on the PSV on that reservoir. It does a pretty good job of rust proofing wherever you mount it lol. If that bothers you, you can put a sock over the top to catch it from going further. Idea came from @RDFTS

Put on my KHC high clearance exhaust (made for gen 2s) only hurdle was to match the 2.5 from muffler to the 3 inch pipes. My guys at Morse muffler in Burbank got them matched in no time. Goodbye turn down drone

Also put my laser S1s on

I live in a small town, its an hour drive to get a gas bottle filled. Not convenient for me.
To each his own....

How many tire fills you get out of bottle?

Hey ChiefApple,
I am new here but have a 2012 Raptor (Original Owner). She's got 143,000 miles on her and the original Fox Suspension feesl like they it's done. Do you recommend the Icon replacement suspension over rebuilding the Fox? She's a daily driver / off road hunting and camping rig. Thanks.
I would not recommend icon for a daily. Fox has a much smoother slow road speed comfort to them. I used to run icons and loved them but the didn’t do any justice for the daily commute
