Hey Ruckus, thanks for the input. I think i read your post already. Between work and the family I don’t have the time right now. I’m cool with the labor cost, but not excited haha. The next cheapest place quoted me $600 for labor only and then Firestone quoted me $1100. So I fee better with $390 and the shop is reputable enough.

$1100???? WTF, that's insane, just for ***** and giggles, I would phone them back and give them a hard time for even quoting that high, or contact their head office.

$390 is a good quote. I’d take it. Good to get the boots and wires done at same time.

Yeah I had a smaller one on it prior but it was kind of cumbersome to put up and down; this one is super easy. This still is growing more popular in the overland crowd. I won't ******** you telling you that this is prep for some grand adventure. I'm going to a beach about 20 minutes from my place, putting out a few chairs and drinking beer.

Hey man it gets cold at night! Like low 50s... sometimes it even creeps into the mid 40s. I have my little space heater and sometimes I have to break out a second blanket.
