Allinon72- good work on the rear diff. I’ll be doing mine this weekend. Just waiting on my new diff cover to get here.

Also have some extended brake lines and upper control arms to install. Having my spares mounted and balanced and hopefully break ground on my rear bump setup.

Oh yeah... dual tire carrier painted and installed.

Got my UHF/VHF radio installed today. Here's a couple quick photos, going to do a video and start a build thread down in that forum for my truck. I'm super happy with how this turned out....


Parts list that I ordered.


Faceplate/control head mounted up on the face of the sunglasses holder.


Main body of the unit buried below the drivers seat. No loss of function with the seat at all.


Control mic in it's new home right next to the drivers seat. There is also a bluetooth headset for the radio as well as having the MARS upgrade done so that I'm live on all the military/law enforcement/NOAA/etc channels.

Now all I have to do is take the class to get my Ham license LOL....

Took off the aftermarket transmission skid plate because going to the dealership this week for an oil change (they always make a mess with that skid plate in the way regardless if its got the opening for them) and having them look at the front differential (hopefully a warranty issue), its leaking and might as well have them change the fluid in the transfer case. When messing with the skid plates notice by the front diff that the rear crossmember is beat to shit. Went ahead and changed out the crossmember, don’t want them to think I took it off-road and hit it there and point to it as the front diff problems.



Took apart the side mirror because the blinker leds on both sides have some of them going out. Purchased some aftermarket ones that are smoked and looked cool with sequencing flashers for both the back and front (thought I would update the deflector delete mod from 5yrs ago). Started to install them and the inside connector broke and the outside front one the tab broke. Cheap Chinese crap! Just going to spend the money and replace with OEM. My mirrors get hit alot and hard when off-roading, don’t need that crap falling out of them down the road.

Damn bed bolts wouldn’t come out even after having them out a year ago.

Installed the Forged IWE lines... Kind of a PITA to get the old ones out. Wish my lift were operational...gotta get it wired.
