Well finally did it, the dreaded power steering. Truck has almost 60k miles and still on its original pump.
Dealership could not find the traction control fault that would come up when off-roading so took it out and had some fun to try and get the faults to re-appear. My fun ended short and I knew I should not of been doing donuts when I smelled burnt power steering fluid in a short manner. Yep, blew the power steering pump (fluid spraying from behind the pulley) and maybe the rack now. Cleaned it up and bringing it back to the dealership in the morning. They left the ticket open so still one single deductible and hopefully will warranty the failures.
Installed some FORD lettering on the grill...I like how it turned out.
