Finally after 3 weeks of waiting got the 40 inch bar back from Rigid after a complete overhaul as apart of lifetime warranty. This is a lengthy process and requires a lot of patience between taking pics, sending them to Rigid warranty claims, shipping and patiently waiting to get it back. Carrie in customer support was great. It looks like they junked the beat up one that I sent to them and shipped a brand new one instead. Simply amazing. According to them they also replace all internals with brand new ones.

This weekend put front PDP mudflaps on Gen 1 to replace the broken Vortex ones...sucks though jacked up one side and thought I was 'smart' by taping the level to the mud flap instead of dry fitting and putting tire back on...ended up crooked, but at least had angle drill adapter and didn't need to pull tires again. Looking from the back side to the front can just see about 3/4" of tire tread now from top to bottom...before it was 3/4" at the top and an inch plus at the bottom.

Did Gen 2 a few weeks ago.

I installed mine a couple weeks back as well. I took a tape measure, a level, some double sided tape, and a helpful wife. I double side tapped the flap into place, took measurements on it, confirmed level, drove in screws.

It required me to have the wheel full left to get some screws on both sides, and then full right to get the remaining. I never once took the tire off. Both sides are level and even (down to about 1/16" difference). I also brought the flaps 3/8" beyond the fender because I'm tired to peppering the sides of the truck with rocks and rain water.

Installed my fuse 27 relocation kit and found rubbing on several of the wires down there. My PDB has been removed at least twice for engine replacement/harness replacement so may be just mine but when you do this be sure to look for any signs of wear. aa446f6f68a8d6dc4f2d97a786f1b404.jpg

I didn't "do" anything to it but this did happen. She's officially a worn out old *****. But, I wouldn't trade her for anything....except maybe a SCAB [emoji869]0f5c2a93674abcb695b09f6a7db58f98.jpg

Worn out?!?! Only half broke in!

That's cool, but keep calling her names like that and she might fight back!
